Fundraising: We're doing quite well in this department! Our initial efforts in the fall resulted in about $845 in the bank, and we raised a further $1440 from our chocolate bar sales. Unfortunately, we have only collected about half of the money outstanding, so after paying for the bars we have yet to see any profit. PLEASE hand in your money to Joan or myself, either at the PUB on March 12th or during upcoming class days March 18/19. Convocation: The graduation ceremony will be held at the NAC on Tuesday, June 11th (confirmed) at 1:30 pm (not confirmed). As this time, during a workday, will affect the number of friends and family able to attend, we are questioning having a reception following the ceremony. Your input (and commitment) regarding this and the grad party will be requested during class days March 18/19. Grad Party: The grad party will be held on Saturday, June 15th at the Southway Inn. They have just undergone a huge renovation and offer really nice banquet facilties. Check them out. Further details have not yet been determined; please contact me with your ideas, suggestions, and offers of support. We've had trouble coordinating with Jostens for a display (that we all can access) regarding class rings, photos, etc. I'm now trying for something March 19th - confirmation to follow. |
